标题: With 独立主格结构的逻辑主语
With the cost of wireless service plummeting in the last year and mobile phones becoming increasingly common,many people are now using their mobile phones to make calls across a wide region at night and........(GWD9Q3)

这是该题的正确选项

主句主语是people with结构的逻辑主语就是the cost么？是不是如果句中with结构没有写出主语（the cost），该独立主格结构的逻辑主语就为主句主语了？

若把该题改为with plummeting in the.....,many people.....就不对了啊

有没有大牛总结一下with的独立主格逻辑主语什么的，顺便加一下介宾短语的逻辑主语，总感觉这个地方看语法笔记看的很崩溃啊。我知道这个做状语的话，修饰的是主语或者主谓，但是有时候的解释说这个结构用错，是因为逻辑主语不对啊。难道这个结构的逻辑主语还有别的注意事项吗？

额。。。为什么。。。如果这个题逻辑主语是句子主语的话，讲不通啊。。。

这个是表原因，表原因不要逻辑主语啊。。表伴随的时候才需要逻辑主语。。。

独立主格结构放在句首或者句尾（也有夹在句中的情况），起状语作用，修饰全句，表伴随原因、条件、状态等

一般独立主格，与主句形成松散的逻辑关系，形式为
n.+n.； n.+V-ed/V-ing； n.+介词短语； n.+形容词短语
主句的逻辑主语和独立主格的逻辑主语无关，独立主格的逻辑主语就是第一个n.

with型独立主格，与主句形成紧密的逻辑关系，形式为
with+n.+V-ed/V-ing； with+n.+介词短语； with+n.+adj
同样主句的逻辑主语和独立主格的逻辑主语无关，独立主格的逻辑主语就是那个n.

each型独立主格，只能放在句尾，强调句尾名词，形式为，
句子+复数名词结尾，each+介词短语/形容词短语/V-ed/V-ing
这里each是代词，独立主格的逻辑主语是each，指代句尾复数名词

with还有一种情况容易和with型独立主格结构混淆，就是with+n.在句中作状语的情况。
给个例句，prep07-2-50题
Wtih no natural predators and with expanses of green suburban neighborhoods where there is no hunting, the deer population in New Jersy, wildlife officals estimated, has grown to exceed 175000.
这个例子中with+n.就不是独立主格结构，而是普通的介词短语做状语，它的逻辑主语是the deer population

楼主的例句中，独立主格的逻辑主语是the cost，plummeting修饰the cost。
如果with后面没有the cost，plummeting就只能做动名词了，那就不是独立主格结构了，就是上面这种情况。正如楼主所说，逻辑主语说不通了。
