Og的意思是说D选项<强调很多LAOS的居民都住在 inaccessible area. >,但是其实是不必要的.与文中的核心<地一样但人少>无明显关系,用定语从句修饰people即可.

D错得一塌糊涂呀。。。。 首先 comparable as就错了，比较对象不对等。地域的面积不能和大不列颠相比，只能和大不列颠的面积相比。其次，两个逗号隔开的“, but only four million in population, ”成为了句子的插入结构，于是原句就变成了
Laos has a land area comparable to the size as Great Britain and many are members of hill tribes ensconced in the virutally inaccessible mountain valleys of the north.
