我觉得 E的问题在 WITH引导的伴随结构应该紧跟修饰的名词, 否则引起歧义.

'extinction' and 'with' dont' agree.

here is an example:

Here comes the teacher, with a book in his hand. --- agreement.

好吧~~这一题我也想了很久~不过最终明白就是with 引导的独立主格只有表伴随，修饰的是整个句子，而这儿没有任何的理由表示这是一种伴随状态，所以不对，你自己好好琢磨一下吧~这个需要点时间~

1，将When 从句的逻辑主语还原，应该是it was, 和with不平行。也就是说with后不能直接带谓语，因此无法帮when 从句省略谓语。
2. With 放句尾和放句头不一样，不一定修饰全句的逻辑主语，因此可能会产生歧义，修饰了就近的extinction.

昨晚刚做了这道，现在还有点印象哈哈
