(E) were anger about the issue, which was raised repeatedly, and preventing the raw wounds from earlier battles to begin to heal

答案是B.我不知道为什么要用was。我想的是根据emotions 选的were。但貌似要是修饰anger.这类题该如何判断呢？

介词短语位于句首，后面紧跟谓语，立刻想到倒装的可能。
也就是说
Prep. + N1. +V. +N2.的句法必为倒装句，真正的主词在后面的N2.
还原回来则是N2. +V. +Prep. + N1.

实际上不一定是介词短与位于句首，只要是主词补语位于句首就有倒装句的可能。
也就是S.C. +V. +N2.

倒装饰为了避免头重脚轻，你把这句还原看看就知道还原句头有多重，造成理解困难。

答案是B.我不知道为什么要用was。我想的是根据emotions 选的were。但貌似要是修饰anger.这类题该如何判断呢？
