(Like the planets,)是修饰the stars的，the stars是主语，前面的就可以抛开不看了。 接下来the stars are in motion, some of them at tremendous speeds（them肯定就是stars）。把some of ……看成插入语，抛开不看。 句子就成了：the stars are in motion,but they are （they 肯定还是指stars） 所以没有指代不清
