I'm curious about the final part: make an appointment with the director. I'm wondering if most directors would spare that much time for applicants. I did. However, I admit that it is not easy to get the feedback from the professor, I sent tons of emails and got little feedback. but u have to find ways to get through. 回复这个贴子,我也很纠结. 因为我在申请牛校,而且是跨专业. 我本科的GPA绝对是硬伤. 第一硕士的分数过得去而已. 有4年基金公司经验. 但是我知道跟坛子里的种种牛X人士相比,我很渺小...我敢申请牛校....当然我只是刚提交了网上申请.我并不敢保证说我一定能被录取.
之所以敢申请牛校是因为我在择校时,遇见了一个老外. 此人在OX做讲师,他本身也是OX的PHD毕业. 他给了我很多鼓励.. 具体鼓励如下: Many people think GPA is the most important factor when the director makes the decision. but for us, the most important factor is your potential. we are looking for someone who has potention in the field. We always consider some candidates who just meet the mini requirement but have passsion and interests in the area, and are able to complete the course they choose.
