Charcoal being replaced by coal as the fuelused in the smelting of iron ore, and several improvements in blowingmachinery, which tripled the average output of ironwork over the course of theeighteenth century. 那D为什么前半部分不能使独立主格做伴随状语？我觉得如果前面是伴随状语没有错误啊 并且A太不靠谱了吧，这么明显的不平行当答案 D相对来说已经是最平行的了 求牛牛解答

我觉得B错就错在主语变了。 按照原句A选项的意思，应该是the average output做主语，而B中a tripling in the average output的中心词变成了a tripling,重心改变 这题我也选B了，不过后来仔细看，觉得就这一点足矣区别A,B的不同了。。作者: conditwong 时间: 2011-9-6 15:53
B 错在改变句子的结构了，句子原先是output of ironwork tripled 是由于 coal replaced charcoal和blow machine的improvement等等原因造成，句子重心还在tripled，后面两个原因起解释说明作用。B改写成句子重心在后面两个原因，改变原文意思。 C 介词+物主+being done 肯定错 D看不出分居和主句存在任何关联，如果分句前面加上Because of，可能考虑选这个 E肯定错

A和B排除B，原因1： 原文over the course of 18 century是一个时间状语修饰的是主句，产量翻三倍，B中将时间状语改为修饰a tripling三倍，本身句义就有问题；2. in addition是副词，不是并列连词，在意思上代表的应该是其他，还有，和主句是有主次之分的，改变了文中的两个原因并列平行的意思作者: LRGMAT 时间: 2015-8-20 18:45
