(E) broadening the flesh behind its head the way a cobra does, feigning repeated strikes, but with no dangerous fangs and no venom, and 这个题选C 可是 C中将多余的插入部分去掉后就变成了 The hognose snake puts ...., but it has ...., and eventually will fall over and play dead. 我想请教一下各位，but it has 这个句子是插入在 The hogonose snake puts and eventually will fall ove...中间做一个插入语成分， 还是作为一个独立的句子和上述2个句子平行。如果but it has...的作用是后者那么 and前得逗号是不是应该去掉。谢谢各位作者: 毛毛carina 时间: 2011-3-30 11:08
整个句子的主干~~~ The hognose snake puts on an impressive bluff, but it has no dangerous fangs and no venom, and eventually will fall over and play dead.
这里has 用but连接，肯定是跟puts平行作为主语的谓语的；and 连接了第三个谓语 will fall over……。但是这里的逗号不能去掉，因为第二个主谓结构后面有两个宾语： no dangerous fangs and no venom。 如果没有逗号就会造成歧义，导致第三个谓语 will fall over 变成和no dangerous fangs and no venom 并列。作者: sunxiaotong 时间: 2011-3-30 12:51
谢谢毛毛斑竹。我还有疑问如果像你说的第三个谓语and前得逗号如果省略会产生歧义，可是逗号后应该接的是完整的句子，而第三句话“,and eventually will fall over and play dead."是在",and"之后的句子 难道不应该接一个完整句么，这样第三句话不就少了主语么，又或者说这的主语省略了？ 实在头疼，还请毛毛斑竹再解答。作者: 毛毛carina 时间: 2011-3-30 13:12
