Please tell the meaning of this sentence in Chinese. In addition, what do they refer to?

我也想问这道题。大家的困惑都在于：后面的and they do (sell) 中they是Italian vintners还是wines? 根据gmat代词指代要清楚的原则，they应该是指vintners, 因为不可能前面出现了their wines，很清楚地指代vintners,而后面一个they在主语没有清楚地写明情况下，会是指代另一个事物（wines）。但是从句意理解方面，我却很难让自己信服前面的说法：为了减少存货，意大利酒商已经削减了卖价；他们的酒已经是廉价出售了，而且（酒）确实买得很好。这么看来又好像they是指代wines的。
真的迷惑了，请高手出手指教。

我这么认为：

无论do指的是sell还是do sell(强调）都能讲的通，因为我觉得sell本身的意思变了：be priced to sell是定价销售，而后面的sell是卖出去了。换句话说，前面的sell是卖，后面的sell是卖出去了。

为什么这么讲？因为：根据逻辑：酒商要减少库存，那么他们想的办法就是定价销售，结果是确实卖的不错。

至于为什么sell能当“卖出去了”讲，我这么想的，大家常说：it sells well.就是这个卖的不错的意思，这个卖隐含了什么？不就是卖出去了，且卖出去的很多么？同理，去掉well那就是卖出去了（不说卖出去的是多还是不多，反正我卖出去了）这样就是我说的sell的第2个意思了。

至于they我觉得明显是酒商，要不然肯定they和their是矛盾的，ETS不会自己抽自己嘴巴的。

这是OG对A,B,D,E的修正In choice A, the omitted word is selling; in B, D, and E, it is sold. Neither of these forms corresponds properly to to sell earlier in the sentence. 如果修正后就正确,那么E要改成they have sold ,这里they一定指酒商,如果指酒的话,那必须改为have been sold.

they是指代wine。

完整句子是：their wines have been priced to sell, and they do to sell.

这里的sell是vi.（不及物动词），表示“被出售”。

如果they指代vintners的话，sell应该是vt.，表示“卖”，后面需要跟宾语“卖的东西”，这样就和OG的解释冲突了。

OG解释：in choice C, the best answer, do is correctly used in place of the full verb do sell; in this verb, do is a conjugated form and sell is in the infinitive form, corresponding to tis previous use in the sentence (in the phrase priced to sell)

在一个句子里,后一个分句的代词主语优先指代前一个分句的主语.所以此题的they指代前个分句的主语their wines.
