The analyst says that Manto will lay off workers.

A says no. Because the new order of Model TX will require more full-time employees of Manto than the canceled order for Model Z. Contractors are not full-time employees.

NN 当时我貌似明白了今天总结的时候又不会了你再解释清楚一些好吗这个原文当中并没有说 contractor 的事情呀好着急呀

For weakening and strengthening type questions, you have to consider extra info gleaned from the answer choice on top of what is discussed in the stimulus. A adds the concept of contractor and A weakens the argument.

Both are contractors. The original contractor gives contracting work to another contractor. The latter is called subcontractor.

full time employee are not contractors. Contractors are hired to help full-time employee to finish a job. Letting an employee go is called lay-off. Letting a contractor go is called termination of a contract, not lay-off.

对A我原先想法是加强。因为z外包说明人手不够，tx不用那么多外包说明要用的人少，所以裁员没问题。
按照答案的说法是，z是靠外包的，不太动用厂里的人，TX在厂里做，需要更多人手，所以裁员有问题。

区别在于，外包的原因。

这个究竟怎么理解才是对的……

我根据LS牛牛分析,感觉是说.
A选项提及说造Z的多是SUBCONTRACTOR而不是EMPLOYEE,相比造TX的而言.
那么NEW ORDER对TX的增加还是要EMPLOYEE来做的.TX的ORDER减少只是说对于SUBCONTRACTOR有影响.
也只是说结束合同的关系.并非会要LAY OFF.
所以说是削弱了原文说分析师们预测说要裁员的说法.
