第一题strikes和holds是平行的，都是The caterpillar的谓语，所以需要有and连接，holds前面要有and

第二题：Inflation 做主语，but连接slowed和was两个谓语，注意主谓一致
第三题：and连接的两个that从句并列，两部分要平行~然后比较对象是inflation，second-quarter inflation was somewhat lower than（inflation)previously estimated
我觉得这里省略了一个inflation，然后estimated做后置定语修饰它~
不知道对不对哈！

不好意思，只顾着贴答案了。我的思路和clumsy123的差不多，这边就不重复说了。
昨天下午看到manhattan上一位大牛关于parallelism的理解，觉得很精辟，贴在这里，希望对LZ有帮助。
When you read sentence correct problems, you should look for contexts that require parallelism.

Parallelism is a large-scale, context-dependent thing, so it’s imperative that you detect any necessity for it when you are reading the problem.

Not that you should not rely on “signal words” (and, or, not only… but also, etc). in order to detect parallelism, rather, you should be able to detect the necessity of parallel structure solely from context, with the signal words as a nice way to confirm that necessity.

记住：并不是看到and, but等信号词然后去找平行，凑平行。而应该是句意为先，先读懂句子，判断题目中的那种情况需不需要平行，再做判断。
