答案解释的错误是removing the children from picture as the ones who are affected是什么意思？我觉得这个选项蛮对的诶请指教！

我认为，D选项将句子分为两个用and连接的并列句：
1.The conversational pace of everyday life may be so brisk that it hampers the ability of some children to distinguish discrete sounds.
2.The conversational pace of everyday life results in not making sense of speech.
第二个句子中没有关于children的信息，所以D的解释为：将children从作为哪些被影响的个体的情形中排除了。

原意是conversational pace hampers the ablility of children to distinguish sth and （the ability of children） to make sense,
而D选项，conversational pace hampers the ability of children to do， and results in not, 那么result后面的东西跟the ability of children 句没关了
所以
removing the children from picture as the ones who are affected
而此句字面上如楼上所言

而D选项，conversational pace hampers the ability of children to do， and results in not, 那么result后面的东西跟the ability of children 句没关了
所以

第二个句子中没有关于children的信息，所以D的解释为：将children从作为哪些被影响的个体的情形中排除了。

我觉得这让我感觉到要找出句子的主干、理解句意真的是做对题的最大前提

bla bla ,and results in..用and连接两个句子，所以这句话可以分成that it hampers the ability of some children to distinguish discrete sounds and words, and it results in not making.这样就明显了，后面这句话是很不清楚的，it results 了什么呢？不清楚，所以OG说这removing the children 就是这个原因

我在想and 前的it 可以省略吗？
我知道这选项逻辑不对。但是就算逻辑对，能写成这样吗？
it hampers....., and results....
如果是两个独立的A, and B
应该是要独立的、长的、句子吧。
（要不一般两个元素是不需要加逗号）
但是，这个的results 将主语it 都去掉了，
算是神马个情况？
