As + noun. 表示作为。。。原文的意思应该是比较，只有D和E符合。D没有谓语，我选E.

此处不是比较HUNGARY 和欧洲其他国家。IN HUNGARY是个状语。如果把IN去掉的话我觉得是可以用LIKE的，但是去掉IN的话HUNGARY和欧洲的其他国家都需要做主语了，作为动作的发出者。

句子的主干是an overwhelming proporation of women work
an overwhelming proporation of women 是主语 work是谓语
many of them是独立主格结构，修饰前面的women , 这些women in middle management and light industry。

可能不能用many of which 的原因是 which指代的是an overwhelming proporation，但是proporation不能in middle management。？这个不是很懂！

<1>A选项-->which不能指代人，把which改成whom就对了。
<2>D/E比较对象不可比。
<3>主句是an overwhelming proportion of women work，有了主语an overwhelming proportion of women和动词work，这个句子已经完整，后面的内容是修饰women的。
Analogy：
I have 30 classmates, many of them from Japan.-->correct
I have 30 classmates, many of whom come from Japan.-->correct

不用去纠缠这个术语上叫什么独立主格呀或者什么的，因为这不重要，反而阻碍语法学习的效率和速度。
<4>as之后可以跟句子，也可以跟介词短语，此题属于介词短语，而且C选项很平行。
<5>an overwhelming proportion of women是复数，因为women是复数。一般来说X of Y的单复数根据X来定，但此处是特例，根据Y来定。比例呀、百分之几呀什么的都是根据Y来定单复数。
比如：
a great percentage of rain is...
a great percentage of books are...
two-fifth of all the water is...
two-fifth of all the cars are...
an overwhelming proportion of energy is...
an overwhelming proportion of women are...
