此题选A。问题是：closely resembles 前面没有加that，这两个句子怎么算平行啊？

考点：逻辑意思（logical predication）平行结构（parallelism）

1.in an attempt to需要考虑逻辑主语。

2.定语从句谓语的平行，不需要补出that，相当于共享了句子成分，如在本句中共享了主语；不似宾语从句两个名词性从句的平行需要补出从句引导词，如that/whether等。

请教C项是不是句子开头的介词短语作状语的位置改变而导致句意变化呢？？
由原来的在马达加斯加发现，变成了在马达加斯加这个限定区域内才发生的事情，拍砖吧
