Anyway, I think so that will be better and more concise than "so as to"
so+adj+as to is prefered to so+adj+that.

To make sentence understandable, I choose A evern if the structure of choice A appears less concise than that of choice B.
麻might make some typing errors, anyway according to the link verb "are" and adj "many", companies should be plural noun.
I think that "them" in B refers to "companies". There is no ambiguity in this choice.
