这道题E中worth as much as 不是表明这个worth是不可数的吗?那后面为什么要用those of 呢?those在这里指代的是什么啊???
731: "spin"是从句的谓语,主语是"the Earth and the other solid planets", 所以A,B,C, 错。E unidiomatic。
736:D把原句里“fearing that the company may still be undercapitalized.”改成fear companies了。
The five hundred largest manufacturing firms in the
C, D may distort the meaning to compare the number of goods, not the value of goods.

weiyu,我的疑问是如果GOODS是复数的话,为什么用as much as啊?应该用as many as啊。
weiyu,我的疑问是如果GOODS是复数的话,为什么用as much as啊?应该用as many as啊。
我的意思是:比较的是goods (worth as much as)是价值的大小,而不是goods as many as(goods本身的多少)
请dashashaMM指正
just see worth as an adjective, it is easier.
goods worth as much as....。在句子里面goods是宾语,worth短语是宾补。
宾语和宾语补语是主补关系,就是说,把宾语和宾语补语从原句分离出来可以形成新的简单句:goods是主语,worth短语是补语。
The goods are worth as much as those of other firms. 所以goods是不是复数和much无关。你可以把much理解成介词宾语。
