答案是D 问题不是选答案~
1. A选项的IT怎么看指代经常有A OF B,后面一个从句分句有个IT不知道怎么看指代
2.D选项的完成时态怎么解释？！

首先，a选项的句子是不正确的，句子主干是Fossils made it the earliest mammal of the Greater Antilles Islands.化石不可能使树懒成为the earliest mammal .在这个句子中，it即the earliest mammal 故只能指sloth,但sloth只是主语的一个修饰成分，it 不能指代它，你不能说：一个树懒的胳膊的化石使它成为最早的哺乳动物。相当于前文没有出现“它”指代的内容。另一方面，d选项就是Fossils have been dated at 34 million years old,making the sloth the earliest known mammal on....可以自己体会一下

我也不清楚这个时态的事情，但是仔细看下选项会发现，都是用的has 或者是was, 不符合主语fossils的要求，只有D选项用的have been，所以选择D

在这句里，现在完成时不是唯一可行的时态
，但却是最合适的

曼哈顿语法有相关解释，a of b 型的后面最好直接说指代对象不要用代词....

不明白为什么D最后的分句要用making.
那不就变成fossils of.... making the sloth the earliest know mammal on...

请问是否可以说明代词it，they只能指代主语的中心词，them只能指代宾语的中心词？
我记得以前上XDF时老师好像还说过什么可以指代中心词及其修饰语什么的。。。能否请教大家给我讲明白？

其实这句话就是高中语法中的fossils of the arm of ……， which made it the earlist……
在高中语法中，这是一个定语从句，which可以指代前一个句子。但是在GMAT中，认为which不能指代句子，若要表达相同的意思，便将定语从句中的谓语改成doing形式。
