EXCUSE ME, BUT THE ANSWER IS A AND THE PROBLEM WITH E IS THAT THE CHOICE USES THE WORD "WHENEVER"——是一个强烈语气表达，WHICH CANNOT BE ADDED OR DELETED. THERE IS NO WHENEVER IN THE ORIGINAL SENTENCE, SO THERE SHOULDN'T BE WHENEVER IN THE CHOICE.作者: Lacus 时间: 2011-1-27 21:45

trust me, the answer is E. and "whenever" doesn't have any sense of emphasis here. And I doubt your saying that "emphatic or emotional words" couldn't be added or deleted.
