prep中107对A的解释的有关时态问题我有些不理解。既然说的是客观规律，那么久应该用一般现在时啊，那为什么这里用的是一般过去时？！严重感谢！

A. 正确，两个动词时态均使用正确。伽利略没有发明望远镜是个事实，所以本句的第一个动词invent，

适用一般过去时。如果使用过去完成时，则表示伽利略是在built his own device之前没有发明望

远镜，暗含在此之后可能发明了望远镜之意。这使得句子逻辑含义出现瑕疵，相比之下，一般过

去时更加准确。而望远镜在1609年这一过去的时间点之前，就已经被发明了，所以本句的第二

个动词made，适用过去完成时。

B. 过去完成时态错误；but引导的句子缺少主语，句子结构不完整。

The fact that the telescope was discovered in 1600's and shortly after that Galieo made his own copy is not a 客观规律 but a fact or an event. Since Galieo made his own instrument in the past, we need to describe this event using 一般过去时.

请问 that such an optical instrument had been made, 这句的过去完成时怎么解释呀整句话的动作发生顺序究竟是什么很迷惑啊求指教

1609前，such an optical instrument had been made是个过程。
