还是不太明白,后面句中使用 are 也能体现对应啊, A are to (the narcissistic 1980') what C are to an earlier time. 我觉得前后句都使用are更清晰, 因为to an earlier time 不是 happened in an earlier time. 或者说 to an earlier time 可以换成 to the 1960'
