楼主再仔细看看，选E了，整段话没谓语呀……：像XXXX草地和土地一样，在美国西北部，鸟的消失，一个因为XXXX导致的原因。
ACD的比较对象不对，人家比较的是草地呀，怎么能拿消失和草地比？

B。 同位语a ratio的定从简直不知所云
C. their指代混乱
