标题: Hi there, could anyone help me on this?
What does the following sentence mean?

Bats are the chief consumers of nocturnal
insects and thus can help make their hunting
territory more pleasant for humans.

Is that "their" refers to humans?

Thank you for your help.

Well, humans do not like bugs buzzing around, don't they?  This is just an assertion.

Because it is the BATS that hunt the bugs.  Humans are powerless to chase down and kill the bugs.

Hi,

I dont know. But hunt usually refers to wild animals or birds chased, caught or killed for food etc. Does bugs count?

But thanks.
