Not only…but also结构中 not only后面倒装的话 but also之间可以插入it，they这类词吗？下面这个人说的对吗？ ring_cheng的观点:倒装时可以在短语中插入某类成分，如：not only did sb do sth, but sb also did sth （之所以前后都加入主语，不是为了连接主语，而是为了句子的对仗工整而补足主语，连接的其实是主语的两个不同的谓语动作。又因为not only在句首已经倒装过了，所以but also用正常语序即可。依然满足句子平衡的要求）. 谢谢NN们赐教！！~~~作者: aeoluseros 时间: 2010-12-14 21:41
an amount of修饰不可数名词，a number of修饰可数名词（the amount of和the number of同样适用）。a large group of对于可数和不可数都适用。
