你好，我没有申请HBS。
申请5所：Stanford， Wharton， Chicago， Duke， Yale。S、W、D给了offer，C-waitlist，Y：decline。其实要选也是在S和W之间。对于我的背景，当然选S了。
我们学校的确有一些S/H都给offer的同学，这些人的背景基本创业居多。也有很多同学是H的本科，有趣的统计数字：今年Stanford GSB的本科生源数目最多Harvard，第二才是STANFORD本身。

感谢CD给我们提供这样好的一个机会！

1，请问jenny在获得stanford MBA offer同时还获得了其他几家M7的offer；如果其中包括hbs，是什么原因促使你最终选择stanford？

2，就MBA毕业后创业情况看，我们可以看到有硅谷地缘的stanford可谓优势得天独厚；如果可能请jenny结合自己的体会与我们分享下：hbs，沃顿，斯隆三家MBA毕业生在创业方面与stanford的异同，你认为哪些学校的毕业生可能在entrepreneur方面更强一些？

To find a "fit" B-school needs to do a lot of research. It is definitely a personalized thing that should be based on the "match score" of your interest, background, career goal, personality, etc. with the features of the school, such as strongest points, culture, location, alumni, and so on...

Visit the info sessions, get information from multiple resources: talk to the admission officer, the alumni, and people who know about the school, search on line, visit the school, etc.

The application is a package, a holistic one. The school also evaluates the applicants from different perspectives. But basically, you have to demonstrate your strong potential to be successful in the future. The school is selecting such people and training them to an upper level. Every B-school will offer all it can do to make its students to fulfill their dream, to success in the future and to contribute to the society. It's a win-win solution both to the students and the school.

Actually B-schools are the most successful and sustainable enterprises in the world: they select high-quality materials and turn them into high-end products, thus bring the enterprises fame and profits: the brand name, the social impact, and the donations...

As for Stanford GSB, leadership, superior ability to handle complex issues, strong motivation and passion for success, clear career goal, excellent academic foundation, integrity, curiosity, creativity, social impact, etc. In short, EQ, IQ, WQ, etc.

These characters seem abstract, but you need to demonstrate such qualities in you in your application package, say, the application form, your essays, and your recommendations.

That will be very challenging for you to manage your time . But some of my classmates have their children with them. Your parents or SO who can help you are definitely needed.

主要在Essay和additional infomation 中，不要小看additional info，因为没有题目限制，你想写什么就写什么。还有就是通过推荐人间接替你说话。 Resume就一页，只能表现大概。

Hi Jenny, thanks a lot! That's pretty helpful, I appreciate it, I visited Standford months ago, the campus is beautiful, and luckily I got a chance to sit in the class of MBA info for 2013, the admission officer is very kind and very nice, she explained a lot about GSB, and I found the information given by her could be found on the website too, there's no inside information at all, everything is transparent, it makes me believe that it's the people there who make Standford great!!!
