各位是怎么想的？还有，C中 their steers acquiring 这种说法可以吗？

C is not idiomatic. "because of steers" is a non-sense expression within the sentence. For the first question, I consider that the second clause because cross-breeding... indicates that the proceeding clause should adopt the logical subject with "cross-breeding"

我认为由于前一句造成后一句后果的，多用doing,比如ca3举的例子，还有这个例子
During the 1980’s approximately $50 billion in private investment capital is estimated to have left Mexico and added to the strain on the country’s debt-ridden economy.

A强调的是同时发生。
B强调的是发生的先后。

should只能表示"应该"的语气么,怎么我好象在那道题里曾经看到should有表示对未来进行预测的用法,所以就选了D,之前还以为本题是考察的是平行对称结构和should的特殊用法呢.请NN指教

D选项，it只带不明。GMAT中it 不可指代整句话
