§Work with users and other IT staff to determine and develop specific information systems requirements and processes, essentially for Finance and Treasury.
§Liaise between global project implementation and local/regional needs, ensure the transition from legacy systems to target model.
§Evaluate specifications and requirements against available solutions.
§Analyze, design, develop, and implement fully integrated systems, which may include applications, databases, networks, and related systems.
§Ensure system integrity and efficiency.
§Recommend modifications for third party software products and act as a liaison to software vendors to meet user needs.
PARTICULAR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE ROLE:
At least 3 years appropriate experience.
qJava
qMS-SQL
q.NET (C#), Fix, middleware would be a plus
qA portal experience would be a plus
qAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
qAbility to use applications software, data structures, utilities, operating systems, and communication interfaces within the existing computing environment.
qAbility to use systems workflow and logic flowchart techniques.
qAbility to keep current with emerging software and programming technologies/techniques.
qKnowledge of database design concepts and network operating systems.
qFamiliarity with client/server technologies.
qAbility to perform systems and applications needs analysis.
qAbility to support users and assist them in the use of application software.
qKnowledge of system/equipment capability, design restrictions, and security requirements.
qAbility to identify hardware/software interface problems.
qAbility to prepare requests for proposals and evaluate responses, and conduct feasibility studies.
