OG 86 题:
Having the right hand and arm being cripped by a sniper'sbullet during the First World War, Horace Pippin, a black American painter, worked by holding the brush in his right hand and guilding its movements with his left.
E, His right hand and arm cripped by a sniper's bullet during the First World War.
A, Have sth being done?
1。正如tianwan GG说的,have sth being done太奇怪了,习惯用法是have sth done
I have my hair cut, 我让理发师给我剪了头发,而不是自己剪的,后面一般不接by..., 而在这里讲不通
agree dengpeiqi
不能同意楼上的观点,having sth done不表示做动作的人是Horace Pippin,查longman可以看到,have sth stolen的例句:She has A stolen.

the word "having" can be put at the beginning of a sentence, but depends on the context.
A gives people the feeling that the man was willing to have his hands crippled.
E is correct b/c to make a good connection with the main clause which starts with a person, we need to have "his".
As for your example of "having his A stolen", I don't think it is a good senctence.
His right hand and arm (having)cripped by a sniper's bullet during the First World War.
His right hand and arm crippled by a sniper's bullet during the First World War
