我觉得第一题并不是OF的原因，是因为A COMMITMENT和A CAREER 是并列的，都是句意想比较的，所以不可以用THAT。而且，SMALLER这个比较级是应该形容这2两者的，所以D答案才会是LESS OF A COMMITMENT AND A CAREER

我觉得不选c是因为parallel的原则
young people have ....than xx had
D选择符合这个平行比较的原则 C则不符合
