After having had Ann Boleyn beheaded, the next day king Henry VIII was betrothed to Jane Seymour.
A.同上
B. After having had Ann Boleyn beheaded, king Henry VIII was betrothed to Jane Seymour the next day.
C. Having had Ann Boleyn Beheaded, king Henry VIII was betrothed to Janme Seymour the next day.
D. On the day after he had Ann Boleyn beheaded, King VIIIwas betorthed to Jane Seymour.
E. On the day after having had Ann Boleyn beheaded, king Henry VIII was betrothed to Jane Seymour.
The answer is D, while i chose C. 我一直弄不清楚having had这样的词开头的独立主格结构的逻辑主语是什么！想请教大家。
另外希望能够分析一下这道题的做法！谢谢

The answer is D, while i chose C.
这道题应该怎么去分析对错啊？

第一题：
having开头的分词结构位于句首，其逻辑主语等于句子主语。但我觉得在GMAT语法中，having done sth这种分词的完成形式几乎没有做为伴随主句的分词结构存在，因为分词的完成形式在时态概念的表述上比较含混，不清楚，逻辑含义上与主句不协调。
第二题：
CD两项在语法上并没有错误，错误的是逻辑含义。从意义上去理解，C项说的是，任何一种关于什么的“讨论”都必须始于这样一个“事实”，讨论应开始于一个动作，而不是一个名词。对于这一语法点的理解，OG上有几道题可以借鉴，如这道
66. The Federal Reserve Board's (reduction of interest rates on loans to financial institutions is both an acknowledgment of past economic trends and an effort) to influence their future direction.
(A)reduction of interest rates on loans to financial institutions is both an acknowledgment of past economic trends and an effort
(B)reduction of interest rates on loans to financial institutions is an acknowledgment both of past economic trends as well as an effort
(C)reduction of interest rates on loans to financial institutions both acknowledge past economic trends and attempt
(D)reducing interest rates on loans to financial institutions is an acknowledgment both of past economic trends and an effort

正确答案为A，看这句的主结构，reduction is......,主语reduction是一个名词，则系表结构后的表语也应是与主语一样的名词，而不是动词性词组reducing,所以排队DE两项。
这道题很容易做错，因为当我一看到C项，觉得结构比较顺，就有一种想选的冲动。
得出的教训是:在做题时，千万要反复比较不同选项之间的差异，千万要看完所有的选项再决定。

补充一下第二题，there is这个结构在gmat语法中一般表达某地存在某物

这里用that引导的同位语从句中用there be结构是不对的

这个原则还是少用为好。以下是OG的几例。

第二题中，如果用逻辑含义判断，有时很难做，不知还有什么其它标准没有？谢谢。

首先,谢谢joy的提醒.就这个题目,我想谈谈我对ETS语法中一个原则的理解.我们一直在使用一个动词优先性的原则.大家都没有问为什么?我是这样理解的,在逻辑意思都合理的情况下,动词的使用使得整个句子变得更加生动.把这个原则推广一下,就是在逻辑意思合理的情况下,使用表现更加生动的句型.

在说说这个题目,就there be这个句型而言,gwd把它列为"不爽"句型系列,又是为什么?there be句型的原意就是"某地存在某物",就是因为这个原意,使得there be这个句型的表达比较生硬.就选项而言,在比较最后的选项的时候,如果逻辑意思都是合理的,那么there be的那个选项肯定是不好的.

说说joy说的这3个OG上的题目,的确是含有there be的,但是这只是there be句型推广的一部分.当然,从语法上讲的确没有问题,但是GMAT是比较选项-------只有更好,没有最好.

个人意见,供参考!
