选D。我也选了D，因为觉得both。。。and没有对称是一个很大的问题。但是D也有D的问题，a body of work that was rooted 这里的that was rooted 难道不是必错结构吗？我迷茫了。。。

that was rooted并不是必错。只是不简洁吧。但是不简洁不能优先排除应该最后考虑。这里其他选项都有明显错误。个人意见。
