答案是D，我选的是E，不明白为什么. 是因为时态错了吗？？

有没有NN顺便能够指点一下WITH的用法啊~

plummet和become两个事件是同时发生的，又是平行关系，时态要一致，除此之外，with表伴随，而while表示同时或轻微的转折，在这里语义明显是伴随而非同时或转折

但是我就是觉得plummet和become的时态应该不一样。become我觉得该用进行时，而plummet不应该用进行时

run-on不是指没有谓语动词的句子吗？这里两个都有啊？！

run-on结构有两种情况：溶合句：根本不使用标点就把两个句子合写在一个句子了
逗号错误：使用逗号但没有并列连词把两个独立分句写在一个句子里
例如 A is B and C is D. wrong
A is B, C is D. wrong
A is B, and C is D. correct
A is B; C is D. correct
A is B. C is D. correct

has plummted in the last year 并没有错，因为the last year 是最近的一年，last year 是去年，E错在while, 而楼上说的run-on 的问题我赞同，但是考点是这个未免也套无聊了

E 中的while用法有问题，原句后面还有一个when。
