A的mother's 和wife's are unclear, 没有说明是母亲、妻子的什么？ 要重复前面的部分应该用that指代作者: luopite 时间: 2010-9-27 17:00
A中单独出现了mother's 和wife's ，在前文没有出现A‘s B 的情况下啊，只用A’s 就没有明确的对象了，这样的用法是不对的。 the face of the statue after that of his mother and the body after that of his wife 这里前面的that指代face， 后面的that指代body。 参考XDF的笔记。
