本题的疑惑点：OG的关于B，D，E的解释： “ Finally, B ,D ,and E wrongly use economical instead of economic to mean “ pertaining to the economy.”

关于C）项：so debilitating is it as to become an economic 这个选项为什么不对啊？！so+ adj+ 倒装结构+as to do sth 难道不时很好的表达方式吗？谢谢大家。

题目如下：Although schistosomiasis is not often fatal, it is so debilitating that it has become an economic drain on many developing countries.

C) so debilitating is it as to become an economic

E) there is so much debilitation that it has become an economical

1.economical 通常指节俭节约的,而这里应该用economic经济的

2. C 不好的原因是不能正确表达时态has become,不必要的倒装显得罗嗦.

Economic: 经济(上)的, 经济学的
Ecomonical: 节约的, 经济的

两者意思完全不同

so ... as to 不能表达（或不如） "it has become" 的完成时态
