各位,请问这个career vision是什么意思?　它与short-term goal或者long-term goal　有什么区别吗???

The key word here is ‘vision’ – your career goals must be guided not only by the past experiences you have had but more importantly based on what you wish to achieve as a future business leader

如果把Vision 这个词换成 Goal 可以么？所以这个解释不够好吧。

如果一样，DUKE干吗这么麻烦用Vision这个词呢？

期待高手进一步解答啊～写Vision和写Goal需要注意什么不同。

Hello there—this is a GREAT question, and one that should be asked more often! The answer is that a long-term goal and career vision are actually quite similar. But the long-term goal will describe WHAT you want to do, whereas a vision would describe WHY you want to do it. Here is an example:
Long-Term Goal: I want to build apartments for poor people in India
Career Vision: I want to help poor people in India be able to live comfortably, and change the face of development in urban areas.
See the difference? Career vision is more global, and refers to your logic and passion. Long term goals are more focused on what you actually want to DO. Hope this helps!
