标题: 求助OG12 SC118,急求大家帮助啊
我想问一下该题的A选项，除了 caused by部分逻辑上不够准确，为什么agree to be caused by也有错误，为什么不可以看做是a phenomenon （ most scientists agree to be caused ...），phenomenon之后整个部分给其作定语，就是一个现象（大多数都赞同是由...引起的现象），虽然说起来有点拗口，但是仅看这一部分小弟觉得好像是对的啊，agree to do是有这个用法的啊，longman上的例句也不是像CD里说的那样to do只表示将要做什么，例如No one really knows why he agreed to do the film.这不就是说明一种状态么？不解，请各位NN指导。

这个 to be caused 动作针对的对象是a phenomenon，发出这个动作的逻辑主体是human being's burning.
sb agree to do是存在的，这个agree to do的动作发出者是sb，由sb来做to do这个动作。
那么按照你的说法 A选中 most scientists agree to be caused，就是在说, most scientists agree to 发出be caused 这个动作，（且不管是将来要发出这个动作还是一个状态），be caused这个动作的逻辑主体就成了scientists (scientists 发出了 be caused这个动作)，这明显不合逻辑啊。
还有一个，很多语法书或者字典上的语法规则有时候并不适用于OG，OG有它自己的一套东西，总结多了你就能看出来了

谢谢，讲得真好，我也觉得OG的SC很多时候没有那么多生搬硬套的东西，更多的是在体会原句意思的基础上做出解答，谢谢。。

请教一下，这题C选项中by human being's burning这种用法不是一定错的吗？
介词+one's doing sth.不是一定错吗？

B选项 most scientists agree that ……这后面不就变成了一个宾语从句了，但是that 后面又不是一个完整的句子，所以语法结构要完整，就必须补上 that it is caused by……
如果不补上，就正好把that 调到前面，从句紧跟在它修饰的名词后面不会歧义，也使后面整个句子都是用来解释a phenomenon的，这是一个大多数科学家都同意它是由什么什么造成的现象。
如果你把它视为插入语也不对了，假如是插入语，that从句就不是紧跟在它修饰的名词之后，不符合GMAT语法的要求。而且意思也变了：科学家同意这个现象，这个现象是由人类造成的。原意应该是这是一个大多数科学家都同意它是由什么什么造成的现象。

我也想问C中 most scientists agree的成分，尤其是后面紧跟着来个is ，感觉很别扭，虽然逻辑上显然is是a phenomenon 的谓语没错，但是that 引起的同位语从句里面插入个most scientists agree 怎么觉得那么奇怪阿

就是一个定语从句了啊，那么也就说的通了·····
感觉重心不在这，是不是这个原因呢
In A,in burning fossil duels seems to modify human beings,implying that these human beings are coming to a most unfortune end

你好 A选项我不是很同意你这个意见以下是个人拙见，大家随便参考下哈是我的个人意见
(A)a phenomenon most scientists agree to be
caused by human beings in burning fossil fuels,

当中应该有一个定语从句，但是省略了that，完整的是
(A)a phenomenon that most scientists agree to be
caused by human beings in burning fossil fuels,

正确的理解顺序是
(A)a phenomenon most scientists agree thatto be
caused by human beings in burning fossil fuels,
综上所述，A选项中，most scientists agree to be
caused by human beings in burning fossil fuels是作定语从句，但是省略了作宾语的关系代词that

第一种理解：prep note:“有一种关系分句（即定语从句），它既是先行项的后置修饰语（即定语），同时又是另外一个分句结构的宾语（即宾语从句）”此分句结构就被嵌入在定语从句中，即嵌入式关系分句。

C选项中，定语从句为：that most scientists agree，宾语从句是a phenomenon that most scientists agree

第二种理解：其实将that most scientists agree理解成插入语也挺好的，a phenomenon （that most scientists agree） is
这两种理解，本质上时一样的，大家体会一下

caused by human beings’ burning of fossil fuels that most scientists agree 是用来修饰phenomenon的然后is 就是phenomenon的谓语

这道题突然有点想不明白：a phenomenon that most scientists agree 是定语从句没有问题，但是agree可以直接跟名词a phenomenon吗？难道不应该是a phenomenon to which most scientists agree吗？
