诸位牛人们。seem to do ,seem as if, seem like的区别是什么啊？OG 35说，in this sentence, the verb seem should be followed by an infinitive, but verb seem may be followed by as if in some contexts. 都在哪些地方用seem as if？请大家明示。是根据词性判断吗？

seem as if 后面接从句，
从句的谓语动词常用虚拟语气来表示所设想的事情不可能发生。例如：It seems as if she had read this novel.看来她好像看过这本小说。
但如果句中的情况可能发生或可能被设想为真实，则仍然用陈述语气。例如：It seems as if our team is going to win.看来我们队要胜了。It seems as if he has learned by heart a speech written by someone else.看来他像是背了一篇由别人写的演讲稿

seem+like+n./ V-ing，意思是"看起来像……"
It seems like years since I last saw you.自从我上次见到你以后，好像是过了好几年。

seem+不定式
The maths problem seems to be very difficult to work out.这道数学题似乎很难解决。
I seem to have caught a cold.我好像是感冒了。

从句的谓语动词常用虚拟语气来表示所设想的事情不可能发生。例如：It seems as if she had read this novel.看来她好像看过这本小说。

在这个帖子也说一下，据网上查证和OG官方的说法，as if to do用法实际存在，只是这里不太恰当：

“as if to do” 是 “as if + 与主句一致的主语 + 将来时”的省略，如：

I made a fierce countenance (as if to eat) him alive. 我恶狠狠地拉起脸来，仿佛要把他活生生地吞下去。
　　【= (as if I would) eat him alive.】
He rushes out of the room, (as if to meet) some important person. 他冲出房间，好像是要去迎接某个重要人物似的。
　　【(as if he will meet some important person.】
分析：本题的figures seem ...如果加as if to indicate引导表语从句还原完整为as if figures will indicate...原意应该这些强劲的数据貌似暗示了什么，而不是这些强劲的数据好像将要暗示什么，是本来就暗示了不需要将来时做赘述，有个时态上的瑕疵。并且indicate后接了宾语从句不应该省略that,尤其是在还有插入语的情况下，容易引起歧义。

楼主的原题应该是这个，但是E为什么不可以，从语法角度上说

E的an indication of 不如indicate简洁。最重要的是，of后面不接从句而是接名词或词组。划线后面是the economy ... is ..a recession,所以一定要从句that
