答案选：E

但初做此题时，一看到E中的“it”，想肯定是指代前面整句话，所以就排除了，选了A，让helping...做伴随，但答案偏偏就是E，是不是我想错了？

因为我的基础不是很好，所以我想请教大家如果在考试上我怎样分辨代词的指代问题？谢谢大家！！！

从考试的角度来看代词指代的问题最常见的是单复数问题和特指及泛指问题
指代混淆往往不是解题的关键呵呵虽然OG解释里面有很多关于指代混淆但那是美国人的语法逻辑
看本题 D错在 ragtime composer, published
B 错在in six months they 单复数错误
A Selling several hundred thousand copies in six months, the publication of “Maple Leaf Rag” in 1899 was an instant hit, selling的逻辑主语是 publication 错误
C “Maple Leaf Rag” was an instant hit 正确的是 publication was an hit
E的逻辑表达很清晰

我上面的C 表达有点错误呵呵 "C “Maple Leaf Rag” was an instant hit 正确的是 publication was an hit
C 中的which 指代错误正确的是" Maple Leaf Rag” was an instant hit
E中 it 指代“Maple Leaf Rag”

it很少有指代一句句子的，一般指代之前的单数名词，不知道是不是这样？
