E的catching cod and haddock和catching monkfish看上去挺对称，所以选了这个，而答案是A，是不是说只能和主语对称？

B:比较对象不对，C、D which指代不正确，还有E的there be句式插在这里表达不正规，E逗号之间的插入语，不影响主谓，去掉插入语，主句比较不完整，句子结构不完整,且their没有正确指代。

我个人觉得对称的时候必须是相同的成分啊
unlike后面的东西得和主句的主语对称呢，形式结构都得一样，你这儿主句的主语是there，对称不能啊

比较对象必须形式对等，概念对等，哪怕一个是动名词一个是现在分词都不行

一时糊涂了，晕倒！！答案确实是c.
题意说的是 MONKFISHI没有捕捞的尺寸限制，而cod and haddock却有，因此这种行为导致了（contribute to）MONKFISH的濒临灭绝
至于对称，恐怕只是拿来迷惑思路的。事实上，只要说通这个意思也就可以了。
A 错在题意不清。主题结构应该是There are no legal limits,as there are for cod and haddock（means: there are legal limits on the size of cod and haddock that can be caught
）on the size of monkfish that can be caught，a circumstance that contributes to its depletion through overfishing.
