标题: 求助OG一道语法题~
In recent years cattle breeders have increasingly used crossbreeding, in part that their steers should acquire certain
  characteristics and partly because crossbreeding is said to provide hybrid vigor.
   (A) in part that their steers should acquire certain characteristics
   (B) in part for the acquisition of certain characteristics in their steers
   (C) partly because of their steers acquiring certain characteristics
   (D) partly because certain characteristics should be acquire by their steers
   (E) partly to acquire certain characteristics in their steers

这道题的答案选E，但是D为什么不对呢？and前后多对称啊.....希望大家可以来帮我看一看~谢谢

D的意思是steers应该获得由杂交所产生的characteristics
想想没有生物会愿意被人类强行杂交且愿意得到这种characteristics 愿意得到这种characteristics所带来的好处的应该是人类而不是steers
这道题想表达的意思应该是人类让steers强行杂交并且得到characteristics 也是E想表达的意思

首先个人觉得D选项并不对称，只是形式对称而已，具体到语法来说，是不对称的。（我怀疑是故意做成那样的。。。ORZ）

仔细观察一下， partly because certain characteristics should be acquire by their steers and partly because crossbreeding is said to provide hybrid vigor.
"And"之前的内容，是被动的语态 之后的内容则是主动的。主动语态和被动语态怎么能对称呢？完全不符合平行结构的要求。

根据平行的原则来解决这道题。首先处理单个的词，in part 和partly。这里来说，partly和partly才可以平行，partly 和in part不能够平行，所以排出AB。

D选项如上所述。
C选项because of + 词组和because+句子是不能平行的。
E选则是to acquire certain characteristics 和to provide hybrid vigor平行。虽然对仗不是很工整，但是的确还是可以行得通的。

恩，恩~我觉得你的分析挺准确的，我被那because忽悠住了....
2楼其实说的也有一定的道理，是从逻辑含义上来理解的，你的注重从语法上~
