老帖无人问津~于是重新开贴问题~我想知道，some formed as commercial ventures, others as religious havens, 是两个同位语么？是不是不需要用连词连接，只用逗号隔开就能允许N个同位语连接了么？多谢NN~~~

谢谢详细的解析，不过我想问的问题不是这个~~~我想问的是，some formed as commercial ventures, others as religious havens, 是两个同位语么？是不是不需要用连词连接，只用逗号隔开就能允许N个同位语连接了么？

some..., others..., （可以看作个整体）这个是作为The thirteen original British colonies in North America的同位语，起解释作用。。

其实这句还是相当于The thirteen original British colonies in North America, each had a written charter that set forth its form of government and the rights of the colonists.

我的问题是未划线部分应该是“SETS FORTH”因为前面A WRITTEN CHARTER是单数？
求牛人指教。。。
