正确答案说分词短语这里不清楚修饰什么，是不是既可以修饰new maritime code，还可以修饰句子的主语tiny islets？

应该是new maritime code stimulating international disputes
这里的分词的逻辑主语是tiny islets 了所以有歧义

就是因为可以修饰new maritime code，也可以修饰 tiny islets
所以有歧义。

不过新东方讲的是分词的逻辑主语是主句主语。。og说都可以修饰。。。
哪位n人解释一下~~~~

顶一下，疑惑点就在于不知道什么时候做后置定语，什么时候作状语？

不行，辈分不一样。 under provisions of the new maritime code是前句条件状语，属枝节内容。，ing 要么作伴随状语修饰的是前句状语，要么作为主语主语发出动作修饰整个主句。这里要让两者有修饰关系要么去掉逗号要么改成that从句。
