Hey there!  It would be my pleasure to offer up some guidance here.  The short answer is that YES, headhunter experience could be valuable for you.  This would especially be true if you are targeting some sort of HR-related role in the future.  And even if you are not, you will be able to argue that this HR-related experience will be extremely valuable as you move forward in a general management role in your career.  After all, these skills (hiring people, recruiting talent, retaining talent, etc.) are very valuable as an executive especially.

Now, that being said, if you can demonstrate continued growth at your current company, that would be an EASIER argument to make.  That is, if you show that you are being promoted, taking on more and more responsibility etc., we would have an easier time showing career growth, a logical career path, etc.  people that move around too much in their careers have to explain WHY in their apps.  Given the choice, I would prefer that you stay at your current job and demonstrate increased leadership, etc.  But the headhunter job could work also—it would just take a bit more cleverness in the application.

Hope this helps!
