觉得选C。因为对于obese的定义是和同年龄人比较后按百分比算的，就是说obese的孩子永远只占全部孩子的15%，所以，当obese的孩子数量增加时，即孩子总数增加，所以not obese的孩子（总数的85%部分）的数量也增加了。

文中的主干是 The number of North American children is steadily increasing. 是上升的变化的，选项也应该是变化的，所以从cde中选。文中无提及年龄的变化，所以e不选；文中只说了more body fat的变化，并不能直接得出underweight的变化，所以排除d；所以c应该是正确选项。
“根据过去十五年四项主要研究调查表明，北美肥胖儿童，也就是比85%的同龄人拥有更多的体内脂肪的儿童，的数量正在稳定的增长。”也就是说北美儿童的的数量正在增长，比例不变，数量增长，总数也增长，所以，不肥胖的儿童数量也增长了。

我觉得是C，以上是个人想法zZ~Z~
