我觉得答案是A, 只是从主谓一致及名词优于动词分词形式来判断的,真的不明白这句话的意思. 指哥伦布象征者毁灭与奴役吗?that 后的从句修饰progress 吗?

我觉得that 从句应该修饰 the devastation and enslavement, 因为是devastation 和 enslavement 屠杀了西半球的土著人，所以用have decimated。另外前后都加了定冠词，更有所指，所以我想选E

我觉得，THAT应该修饰跟它最近的那个词，也就是PROGRESS吧？当然，从意思上说，应该是修饰DEVASTATION AND ENSLAVEMENT比较合适，不过语法不应该修饰这俩词的吧？

devastation and enslavement 和decimate有没有同意重复之嫌呢？
