这题前面有讨论，可还是没搞清楚。B中Neanderthals是复数，怎么可以和a vocal tract(单数)对应呢？

单数才对，说明每个Neanderthal只有一个vocal tract，如果是tracts说明a vocal tract有不止一个tract。类似的例子gmat中还出现过，如og252.

Neanderthals怎么和单数的an ape对应

这里不是Neanderthals和单数的an ape对应, 而是a vocal tract和an ape's (vocal tract)对应.
