答案是B，可是看不懂，为什么1970年后的产量没有发生很大的变化就能保证车的质量好呢？请赐教

15. Suppose the guy said that this year (2004). Suppose that the company (DMCC) manufactured 1 cars in 1970 till 2003 each year. Therefore till 2003, it has made all together 34 cars. In 2004, it manufactured 34 cars and only those cars are still running on road. All the cars made since 1970 till 2003 are out of function. So it still means "that over half of all automobiles built by the company since 1970 are still on the road today". Other company make the same number of cars each year. Do you think that DMCC's cars are good (only the newest cars are running on the road?)
