答案是E 我的问题是A中的not only 与句子后面的but also 都跟的是in terms of 啊 挺标准的并列啊 而E的并列特别不标准 但是A中those又指代有问题 希望解释？？？！！！

回答楼主，A最大的问题是没有句子的核心谓语，请问by far surpass能做谓语么？显然不行，因为有介词By存在，其他的感觉上的不习惯，不谐调都是次要的了。
P.S.另外记得PREP上有一题，正确答案是as a result of 和because从句并列，正确的原因是他们的功能相同，尽管形式不同，而且前者后面是一个简单的名词短语，后者是一个完整的简单句，非常符合他们各自的语法要求，故没有不妥，虽然我也是一开始就把这个选项排除了，因为看着实在不习惯，反而是那些because和because并列的选项错，因为有其他更严重和显著的错误。

逻辑并列比结构并列更重要

D来讲首先，that既然指代the quality那么应该和原文的结构形容词相同，应该补出that of pieces 。。。。其次未划线部分已经告知but also in terms of。。。。素以前面一定是not only with regard to，保证结构以及逻辑翻译的对应关系
