1. Last year, land values in most parts of the pinelands rose almost so fast, and in some parts even faster than what they did outside the pinelands.

(A) so fast, and in some parts even faster than what they did

(D) as fast as, and in some parts even faster than, those（D）

(E) as fast as, and in some parts even faster than what they did

这题到底比较什么？我感觉这里应该是比较values的rise，因为它用了faster，但D看是好象是比较values，如果是比较动作，应该than后面有个did之类的东西呀。

D在than 加 did会更好，但是在这5个选项里选择，只有D最好了。虽然ETS喜欢在比较中把助动词补出，有时候他会不小心忘了，我想这不是correction, 是efficiention.

另外，问一个比较初级的问题， than后面的复数名词好象都是用those代替，不能用they,我原来没有什么疑问的，最近给ETS弄的有点晕，忽然想起这个愚昧的问题，为什么？they和those有什么不同，例如，这里用than did they为什么就不可以呢？

只有前后比较对象是完全相同的话，才能用it或they指代

否则的话，必须用that和those指代

those: that的复数形式 pron.1. 那些 a. 2.那些的;那

GMAT中, 指物,特别是N复合形式, N+Ns, 一般用those, 指人, 一般they

为什么不是比较 rise? 怎样判断的呀？
