回答LZ，首先说there be形式绝对不是都错，OG上的那道狼的种群的题就是一个很好的证明，我也是XDF学出来的，千万别被绝对的东西拌死，being也不是都错，我刚做的一道PREP题，BEING就是正确答案。所以千万别用there be排除法，很危险。
然后我给你分析这道题选B的原因，there be句型从根本上来说是一个强调句，其真正的主语在be动词后面，也就是该句中的households。
则如果说as as 结构要求的平行的话，显然使得后面的household缺少对性的there be，句子结构不完整，且whose和前面的where不平行。
另外C选项最大的错误在于those，代词指代有个要求，就是必须是跟前面的名词是一回事，很明显，这道题里的两个household不是一回事，前面的household指的是“孩子和孙子住在祖父母家”的“家庭”，而后面的household指的是“祖父母住在孩子和孙子家”的“家庭”。显然这两个不同的household，所以你的those逻辑上是错误的，不具可比性，对于出现比较结构的题目，这往往是个很大的陷阱，类似的题目非常多，代词指代造成逻辑上的不清晰。
例如：The rates of birth in China are much higher than those in US.
这句话就是一个典型的错误，因为those是要指the rates of birth in China整体，因此不能如此使用，必须用一个概括性的名词代替。

谢谢大牛！我又查了白勇语法《GMAT公理》，第一条是说there be仅用于“某处有某物”，二而此物是一具体名词，如wolf,stone,star,而不是指一抽象名词，如：conversion,relation等，大概这里household是具体名词，所以可以接的
