标题: 小弟不才，一个问题有请高人指点！ OG13题
刚刚在ＯＧ上面看到一个句子，答案说是错的。但小弟我怎么也看不出问题来，还请cd上的各位高人指点迷津！

A surge in new home sales and a drop in weekly unemployment claims suggest that the economy might not be as weak as have been previously thought by some analyst.

从“claims sugegst "到句尾都是可选项。答案却说是the sentence offers no plural subject to fit the passive verb 'have been thought'.

小弟怎么也不明白，故请在此的牛人们指点迷津！小弟有礼了～

补完比较结构是
the economy might not be as weak as the economy have been....
所以错不知对不对请高手确认

准确来说是C选项我不理解答案的讲解

这题首先claims是名词 unemployment claim 是题目的一个词组 "as weak as " 比较的对象是economy和economy that some analysis previously thought 所以as 后面的是单数economy

另外我在DUKB24版主给的Excel中找到了有关解释

贴出如下：

C：as后面的成分（the economy）have been thoughy by… 主谓不一致；passive voice不好，这里明确知道了动作的发出者；

看了一下国外的帖子，这题的讨论有限，因为难度不大；

C选项中instructor明显说到优于previously的存在这题用present perfect肯定是错的（在大部分的情况下绝对是要用simple past的）

她认为这题根据time-indicator判断时态就足够了

这个选项看到完成时我就排除了，没有必要用完成时，用一般过去时就足够了

弱弱的想问这一题c选项，加入原句后为
A surge in new home sales and a drop in weekly unemployment claims, suggest that the economy might not be as weak as have been previously thought by some analysts.
这个选项如果句中have been 改为is，那这句句子对吗？

看了各位的解释，觉得排除C有一下三个理由，不知道对不对
1. have要求一个plural的主语，the economy是单数(所以说as后面省略了the economy?)
2.时态不对，应用一般过去时
3.明确知道动作发出者，没必要用被动语态

那把have been改成was对不对呢?可能还是没有A选项更好(因为3)，但是不是算对?
求指点

as weak as 后面应该是比较对象应该还是economy吧，看不懂这句话补全了以后的比较对象在哪里？

同问，知道C是错的，但是不知道A项的比较到底省略了哪一部分？

A 选项省略的应该是 the economy might not be as weak as the economy that some analysts previously thought. 即省略共同的主语 the economy。所以在C选项中，the economy might not be as weak as the economy have been previously thought by some analysts 会有agreement的问题存在。

你好，我想请问一下OG2018-758 Prices at the producer level are only 1.3 percent higher now than a year ago这句话为什么错呢？为什么不能看作是than后面省略了“price”呢？跪谢！！！

这个没有问题的，根据ron，是后面的时态部分有问题~
